  1. About twenty years ago there was a bog in Killmore four miles from the town of Ballygar in Co Galway which moved with a flood and did a lot of harm.
    It knocked house trees and houses. In the year 1933 we had a great snow-storm, it lasted for a week or more. The people could not travel because their cars got snow bound and they had to stay in the nearest town or village until the snow
