    The seventh son cures ringworm only on Mondays and Thursdays. Gooseberry thorns are applied to sore eyes only on Monday and Thursdays.
    Bone_fires are lighted on the evening of 23rd June. There is usually one lighted in every village. The people of the place gather round the fire.
    The old people sit around while the younger persons dance. Long ago everybody used to carry home a burning sod of turf from the fire for luck.
