Boys makes traps, for catching small birds from sally rods. It is set by means of a forked stick with a short stick acting as a trigger, and a long, bent, slender sally acting as a spring. These traps are baited with breadcrumbs, or grain, and are used only in cold wintry weather.13th July, 1938.Snares for catching fish are made from horse -hair.
