  1. Árcán:- a small delicate-looking fellow with a good "gift of the Gab". Also a fellow given to "pranks" and mischief
    Liúididhe:- A stout, pugy, thick-looking fellow with not much sharpness in him
    Donnán:- a delicate person who is always complaining
    Dúthán:- a small, fat, chubby, fellow who is "all on the ground".
    Líob:- a quiet, pettish, and rather sneakish "mollie of a fellow" with little manliness or cutting in him.
    Cudaí:- The "cudaí" is something more manly than the "líob"but although not such a "maidrín láithighe" has little cutting in him.
    Ránaí:- more delicate again than the árcán. He is as small as the árcán and not near as hefty.
    Spreasán:- a "little good for" fellow, also of the árcán build
    Ceólán:- a half-dead-and-alive fellow with no go-ahead about him, usually of the fat nature.
    Stocaire:- a mean type of individual who likes to keep his hopper filled. He would praise anything and everything belonging to you, ar mhaithe a stomach féin.
