    St. Kerril's Well.
    19th November 1937.
    This well is situated in Gortnalone in the parish of Gurteen. On the 13th June the parishioners of Gurteen assemble at this well and perform stations.
    It was rumoured that a serpent was seen at the place where the well is at present, but there is no certainty of this. At this time a saint lived in a little village known as Cloonkeenkerril, So the
