    mornings mists were being banished.
    The day promised to be a glorious sunny day. The little birds after their silence during the night were soaring high in the sky and it was very nice to be watching them. When we reached the bog we got the pleasing scent of the heather. My brother and my two sisters and I started spreading the turf but we did not feel the time passing until it was time for dinner. It was beautiful to see all the fires blazing on the banks and every one preparing for the dinner. There were so many fires on the banks that they made the bog a pretty picture. We had a good appetite for our dinner because of the healthy
