  1. There was a man living in this place long ago and his name was Pat and he was working for a big farmer.
    Pat was a very honest man and when he came home from his work one night the farmer told him that one of the neighbours was dead and that he must go to the wake. When Pat had his supper eaten he went to the wake. The farmers wife killed a goose and she kept the blood for making up the pudding.
