    her beseeching her to give up her witchcraft. She was converted before her death and she cast the bottle into Kilbarron lake. All that now remains in the site of her mudwall cabin is a quaint old whitethorn tree on the side of a hill. Michael Rogers better knowns as Mick Billi told me that his father was once troubled about relatives in Australia so he went to Biddy and she told that there would be a letter at his home before him. I was also told about several others who went seeking her aid.
    My grandfather who is now eighty five years of age told me that when he was seventeen years of age he was taken to her as he hurt his shoulder when falling from a horse. he also remembers passing Biddy's house while going to Limerick and was often surprised at the rous of carriages waiting an interview with BIddy
