    They were asking each other where the girl they had went and one of them said that the black bottle, which they had, would tell them all about her. Then they got the bottle and as soon as they did so John jumped down and took the bottle off of them. Then he went away. It had wonderful power and so he gave it to his mother. That is how Biddy Early got her power.
