- Wart. The wart is a little lump of flesh that comes on the hands. If you meet a black slug when not expecting to meet it, pick up the snail and rub him to your wart. Then stick him on a thorn and as the snail withers the wart will wither also.
This is another cure for the wart. If you meet a stone with water in it rub the water to the wart and say one Our Father and three Hail Mary's. This will cure the wart.
Pain in the Stomach. The cure for a pain in the stomach is to get water grass in the morning when you are fasting and eat it.
Heartburn. The cure for a heart burn is to get briar leaves and chew them.(continues on next page)- Collector
