    one was made by a school master authenticated by Mrs. Pattison aged 90 and the year 1867 is stamped on it.
    The other bears the name of Jno. Adams believed to be a famous maker of sun dials.
    In some houses in the district there are the remains of the old quilting frames, and nearly every housewife boasts of having one or more of these old hand-made quilts.
