    Mrs Purcell,
    11 Gordon Street.
    Clonmel

    People put blessed palm in the cow-houses so that the cows would get no disease.
    They also put it behind pictures to keep evil spirits away from the house.
    If you did not burn the last year's palm, the old people said misfortune would befall you.
    If a person eat three pieces of palm
