    In Kilmactranny on a hill called Lug Mor [?], which is owned by Michael Mac Gettrick a priest was shot. He was saying Mass on the Mass Rock one morning and the enemy came upon him. There was no chance of escape and as a result the priest was shot. The image of his knee is still in the rock together with drops of his last blood.
