    Cavetown. The Mac Dermotts owned this casle. Hugh O'Donnell destoryed these castles and the crops. The Mac Dermotts rebuilt them again. The Earl of Kildare destroyed Cavetown again.

  2. Some years ago there was a landlord in Croghan called Lloyd. he tried to bring back some of his Catholic tenants to the Protestant church for giving them certain food and goods. There was a parish priest in Croghan called Fr. O'Connor. When he heard of Lloyd's plan to convert the Catholics
