    The market was held in the market house in olden times. It is not held there now. It is held on the street and the wool is weighed in the old market house.
    Huxters, peddlers and dealers in feather and rags visited this district in former times. Dealers in rabbit skins and bottles also came and they still come.

  2. The shops were not so common long ago as they are today. The people living near the villages used to make purchases in them, and the country people went to the nearest cross-shop or sometimes they had to travel into the village. There were some country shops situated miles from the little villages and there were some others situated at cross-roads.
