    Romantic Kilkee in historic West Clare,
    Few towns in our Island with you
    can compare
    Though nature, fair goddess, adorned
    our Isle,
    And deck'd it with beauty in
    every mile,
    No spot on its surface I say
    without dread
    From Fingall's Cave to bold Cork's
    Mizen Head
    In scenery can rival- by Providence
    blast
    That Brighton of Ireland-Kilkee
    in the West
