    Lisdeen was long ago the estate of O Gorman Mahon, who was born at the "Retreat" about 2 miles east of Kilkee.
    His town house was at Eccles St. Dublin. He used to visit the Retreat and spend Summer Season there and shoot etc.
    He was a very brave man but somewhat reckless.
