  1. Our churn is round. It is about four feet high and three feet broad. People churn about two times a week in Summer and once in Winter. The churn is worked by the hand. Water is poured on when we are churning. The butter-milk is making bread. The butter is taking off with a butter strainer. It takes us an hour to churn.
