  1. In 1929 there was a big rain storm. Up in the mountain there was a lot of water under the ground. Now this water burst up and started an earthquake. About three acres of bog sliddered down the mountain side. When it was going off it let a big explosion and some of the water ran down the mountain side. It is now called the mountain slip.
