  1. Long ago when there were few doctors the people had to depend upon herbs and other things for cures. When their wrist or foot would be sprained they would go to a river and put the injured part against the current.
    If a person washed her hands in water that would be in a stone the warts would go. It is said that if a person put as many stones as she has warts into a box and then throw them away and the person that would pick up the box would take the warts from the other one.
