  1. There is an old ruined Church in the townland of Killann.
    The townland is situated in the parish of Killann and in the barony of Clonkee County Cavan.
    The Church is in ruins for the past four hundred years. It was roughly seventy feet long and twenty feet wide. What used to be the floor of the Church is now all covered with graves. The two gables are still standing. One of them is facing the east and the other is facing the west. The door was on one of these gables and the remains of the arch is still to be seen Attached inside to the western gable is an old vault. It belonged to a family called Cosbys. There are only two openings on it each of them about one foot and a
