    month of sweet July,
When all nature it is gay,
The boys and girls from far and near.
    Around it they do stray,
    They'd join in our chorus,
    Sweet music and array,
    And roll among the heather,
    That decks the Loughinlea.
On the Cairn top there is a spot,
That is lovely to sit down.
You can see o'er to the sea shore,
    And like wise Dundalk town,
You can see Cullen grove and sweet Ardee.
