    1. An old way of making baskets is to get fine sally rods. Then they are peeled and boiled in water so that they do not break when they are bent. Then they are bent and put into their place into a basket.
    2. The way you make candles is to put lard on a pan on the fire, then you get two rushes and peel them and plait them together, and that makes the wick of the candle. Then you have to cover them with resin because the resin burns well. Then you dip it in the hot lard.
    3. Long ago the people dyed their clothes with cut beach, log-wood, and copperice
