    man saw the Lepreachan sitting beside a butt of a tree. The man went over and caught him by the back of the neck. He asked the Lepreachan for a crock of gold but he wouldn't give it to him. The man brought home the Lepreachan and put him in a tea-chest and left him there for a while. He then took the lid off the box and looked in to make sure the Lepreachan was there. He turned round and called his housekeeper to come and look at his Lepreachan, but when he looked into the box again there was no Lepreachan in it.
