    There was one time a farmer's woman had a lot of hens. Every morning when she would go out she wouldn't get an egg. This day the farmer himself kept a watch out. He saw a hare going in to the hen-house. He saw her coming out with a bag full of eggs. He got his gun and let bang at her. He struck her on the leg.
