    for the sale of horses, but otherwise there is no special fairs held locally for the sale of sheep, pigs or horses separately, but instead all of them are exhibited on the same day, and purchases of each species are made by those who need them.
    In some local towns the fair-days are on the 3rd Friday of each month, in others on the 3rd Wednesday or 2nd Tuesday of each month, so that fairs would not clash or fall on the same day of the month - thus destroying each other.
