    Travelling Folk.
Many people used to make their living by going around selling things. In olden times they went around with big baskets. Ann Lother was a travelling who used to sell "besoms" and scrubs which were made from heather. Another traveller named Katron Hanlon used to sell cakes.
There are still travellers going about but they go in travelling shops. Some sell groceries, drapiers and some sell lime.
