  1. There were two sorts of stage coaches, a "Commercial Coach" and a "Mail Coach.". The "Commercial coach," carried parcels of every discription, and the "mail coach" carried letters, which were very few, and passengers. The driver sat on the top of the coach, with a whip, which he cracked over the horses, and it is said that the whack of this whip, was heard between every stable which were three miles apart.
    The stable for the "Commercial Coach" was at the head of Gillic's Bray and the Inn was New Inn, now owned by Tom Reilly, and the stable for the "mail coach" was at Greelishe's
