  1. I often heard my father tell the following tale about his grandfather James Brady. When he used to be coming home from his kailey at night, he used to see a light in one spot of the garden. So on a certain night he dreamt that an uncle of his hid a treasure in the garden about 20 years before. He took no notice of his dream at first until he dreamt it three nights in succession. So one day he took a spade and began to dig around the spot where the light used to be seen. After two hours hard digging he unearthed a small box rusty with age, and when he opened it he found in it 30 gold sovereigns. After that the light was never seen any more. He lived happily ever after.
