    The wren, the wren the kings of all birds.
    On St Stephen's day she was got in the furze.
    Although she is small, her family is great.
    Rise up landlady and give us a treat.
    2nd Verse
    Here comes I little Bellsy Bob.
    And under my arm I carry my club.
    And in my hand a dripper pan.
    As every one knows, I have the wren.
    3rd Verse.
    Here comes little Devil Doubt
    If you dont give us some money we'll put you all out
    For its money we want, and its money we crave.
    And if you dont give us money, we'll put you all to your grave.
    Then they dance and sing, and when they are going away, the people of the house give them money. One boy gathers the money, and divides it among them equally when they are going home.
