  1. The local landlords were Humphries. People were punished for trivial acts for instance, if a person was found walking on an avenue from the "Castle" to the Protestant Church, he would be heavily fined. Once a man was caught on it and was fined £10.
    Tithes were collected in this district by the landlord's agent for the Protestant Church and clergy and also for the landlord.
    Humpries it is said hung several priests inside of the "Red door" near the "Castle."
