    Micheal Maguire of Cormeen Kinawley usually mowed 2 Irish acres in a day's mowing
    It takes a machine 2 days to do the same amount now.
    Pat Smith of Cornarea Swanlinbar mowed a meadow of 1 Statute acre from sunrise till 7 a. m. walked 12 miles to Enniskillen and back and did a day's mowing afterwards
