In Snipe Hall in Carramore there is a lone bush where Mass was said in the Penal Days and beside it there was a well whose water the Priest Blessed. Every year since then the tree clips itself.
One day a woman washed soiled clothes in the well and it disappeared. About half an hour afterwards it sprang up a half a mile from where it had been before.
