   There is a place connected with giants in Tinahely called the giant's trough. Once upon a time there was a giant on the Bell rock and he saw a black-bird where the Mottie is, and he took up the stone and fired it at the black bird.    There is a Motty stone a good distance away from our house, and it was put there by a giant.
   There is a big round rock up in Glenmalure and the people say that it was put there by a giant, it is up on the top of a heap of stones and they call it the Giant's stone.
