    Made long ago yet made today. Employed while others sleep what few would like to give away and none would wish to keep.
    Ans: A bed.
    What tree would be sure to lose a race.
    Ans: Sloe.
    What is full and holds more?
    Ans: A pot of potatoes when water is poured in.
    What has a red head and a wooden body.
    Ans: A match.
    Patch upon patch without any stitches riddle me that and I'll buy you a pair of breeches.
    Ans: A head of cabbage.
