    Hidden Treasure.
Kilmurry church was flourishing when Cromwells soldiers killed the monks.
The people soon afterwards hid the bell in a field near by. Years afterwards it was dug up and when the Protestant Church was built in Shinrone the bell was used in it. Ever since the people say it has a different sound.
