  1. There are three disused forges in the parrish, namely James Carroll's Galross, Frank Tiquin's Tayborolaross; and Joe Feigherys, Cloghan.
    Carrols were smiths for over seventy years.
    Tiquins were smiths for about fifty years.
    Feigherys were smiths for eighty years.
    Joe Feighery lived in the village of Cloghan.
    James Carroll lives about half a mile from the village of Cloghan on the road side.
