- As I lie down on my bed to sleep I pray to God my soul to keep,
If any evil happens me I pray to God to waken me,
There are four corners on my bed,
there are four angels over head.
Mathew, Mark, Luke and John,
God bless this bed that I lie on,
and if I die before I wake,
I pray to God my soul to take - I arise myself this morning from bed of sleep to adore my God and labour for the salvation of my soul.
O may I rise on the last day to life everlasting.Oh my God clothe my soul with the mupitalroles of charity.
Grant that I may wear them pure and undefiled before the judgment sea of God - You are not logged in, but you are welcome to contribute a transcription anonymously.
