    At seven o'clock he arrived home with the parcel and all the children came up crying for a bit to eat.
    The woman cut the parcel open and inside was a lovely new Melodeon. He bought it with his wages and left his children dying with hunger.

  2. On the second Friday of each month a fair is held in Clara. It is held on the Green and cattle, sheep and pigs are sold there.
    There are no horse-fairs in Clara, and the nearest one is in Tullamore seven miles away.
    No toll has be paid in Clara, as the Fair Green is the property of the Clara Town's Committee.
