    Old Crafts
Long ago and even still lime has been burned in this parish. First the broken stones are placed in the lime kiln, then coal and sometimes anthracite, then some of the fire coal is mixed with water and put into the kiln. This is done until it is full then a fire is put to it and it usually takes a coupe of days to burn before it becomes lime.
