    An old tradition says that in Pagan times...

    An old tradition says that in pagan times a younger brother of the O'Dempsey chieftain, being jealous of his elder brother,laid plans to slay him.He was however, captured in the attempt,but his brother not wishing to slay him commanded his Druid to turn him int a sword-fish and from that day the fish inhabited the Barrow and later was suppose to guard the hidden treasure of Lea castle.
