    Why should people in an aeroplane not quarrel?
    Because it would be dangerous if they fell out.
    What has no legs and gets on shoes?
    Dust
    Why does a clock not strike thirteen o'clock?
    Because it has not the face to do so.
    What mountains give Italy a bad name?
    The appenines, because they run down it.
    Why did the scullery sink?
    Because it saw the kitchen flue.
