    The old people used to feed the pigs on the middle of the kitchen floor. All the family would sit in around the fire and give the pigs room to eat.
    When tea came to Ireland first they sweetened it with honey instead of sugar.
    Poor people used to eat off a bag on the floor because they had no tables or chairs.
