In my district anyone who is getting married does so on Wednesday.
It is said if you set eggs on a Sunday no chickens will come out of them.
The first seventeen days of April are called the "Ríact"days. They tried to skin the old cow in March and they had to borrow seventeen days from April to finish skinning her.
