  1. One very dark night a man was coming home form a wake in Tomfarney. He lost his way coming through the fields. The man then saw a light and went towards it.
As soon as he reached the light he found it was a house. He entered and saw an old man and woman sitting at the fire. The old woman gave him all he could eat and drink and a candle to go to bed.
After some time the old man and woman came to.
When everyone was in the bed the old man said, "Will you sing with me a song?".
The young man said, "I'm no good.".
Then the old man said, "Well if you cannot get as quickly as your legs can carry you.".
The young man found his way home. He looked next morning and found a liuacalaun where the house was supposed to be.
