    Once upon a time there used to be a man crossing the grave yard in Courtdale coming from playing cards about twelve o clock at night and he used be always telling that he used to see a ghost inside the grave yard gate, so one man did not believe him and he thought to himself that he would make him see a ghost and he got a sheet and went inside the graveyard gate and put the sheet over him and when the other man came he said begor there's two of ye here to night and keep out of me way and let me off, so begor the other man saw the ghost and died with the fright
