  1. One night three robbers went to a gentleman's house to rob. They had no way of getting in.
    Two of the robbers put a rope on the other man's middle and put him down the chimney and then the other two went to the cave.
    The robber stayed in the house till morning and the first thing he did was cut the tongue off him.
    Then he went to the cave where the others were and he went in. The other's had hundreds of pounds and other valuable things.
    They were afraid of the man with no tongue, so they ran away wild in the land.
    The other man was the owner of the cave and had hundreds of pounds. He was not able to talk.
