  1. The potato crop is the most important crop that the farmer sows in this district.
    Every farmer sets at least an acre of potatoes. Some farmers set their potatoes in ridges others in drills. Before the potatoes are set the ground has to be ploughed and if the potatoes are going to be set in drills the ground is harrowed thoroughly. When the ridges are made there is manure put on them. Then the manure is spread and the potatoes dropped. The potatoes
