  1. A ghost story is a departed soul that cannot rest.
One night in 1926 my mother saw a round ball of fire in Ardnacassa a few yards off the ground moving along at a fast rate. It travelled until it reached the top of Corn Hill where it spread out into the shape of a coffin.
Every evening at 8 o'clock during the month of November it took the same course and no one saw it but herself. People said it was a wandering soul.
