    Jesus Christ.
(Said at morning and at night prayers)
As I lay down this night to sleep,
I give to thee my soul to keep,
    If any evils trouble me,
    O Blessed Lady guard me.
There are four angles over my head,
There are four corners on my bed,
    Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John
God bless the bed that I lay on,
Lady by the branch, Lady by the flower
May the Lord Jesus save my soul
    At my last dying hour.
(Said at Night before getting into bed.)
O Sweet Jesus, watch over me in all my temptations particularly at the hour of my death when I will implore Thy Aid and the aid of Thy Most Holy Mother.
(Said at morning and Night Prayers)
